Crude Bitters and Sodas was established in 2012 and is the first cocktail bitters company in North Carolina. Bitter Soda Jerk Craig Rudewicz will give a brief history on the crude medicinal origins of bitters and their transition to the cocktail world. In addition, the presentation will discuss the history of shrubs, a colonial soda made from fruit, sugar and vinegar. Samples of Crude products will be provided with recommendations for cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
